Joe has structured the company to recruit only a select group of players to ensure each client’s personal needs acquire the necessary time and commitment required for success.
A graduate of the Commerce Program at the University of Toronto, Joe is a Chartered Professional Accountant, Chartered Accountant and a certified NHLPA Player Agent.

John has been working in the business since 2003, but has lived his whole life around the game. Growing up and watching his brother Joe move up from minor hockey to the OHL and onto the NHL, John understands the dedication and commitment required to becoming an NHL player. From nutrition, to draft preparation, to contract negotiation, John is able to transfer all the valuable knowledge gained through his brother, to his existing and future clients.
John earned a law degree from Cooley Law School in Michigan, an MBA from the University of Toronto, and is an NHLPA Certified Player Agent.

Eric is a litigation lawyer who was called to the Bar in 2019. Eric graduated from the University of Western Ontario with an Honors Bachelor of Arts with distinction in 2015. In 2018, Eric graduated law school with a Canadian and American law degree from both the University of Windsor and the University of Detroit. While in law school, Eric founded Maroon Hockey Group Inc., a hockey development company that offers micro-managed player development for the top prospects in both the United States and Canada.
Eric’s unique approach to hockey development, coupled with his American and Canadian contract knowledge, provide his clients with confidence that their needs are being adequately dealt with.

Jed has been playing hockey or been involved in the game his entire life. Jed grew up playing hockey at the highest levels and was awarded the top Junior B Player in Ontario award in 1995 after leading the Western Junior B Hockey League in scoring.
After his Junior B career, Jed was a four year letter winner while playing Division One College Hockey at Colgate University. In the 1997-98 season he led the Colgate Raiders in scoring.
Upon graduating from Colgate University with a bachelors degree in 1999, he spent the next three seasons playing professional hockey in the ECHL and AHL.
Jed is a State of Illinois Certified Peace Officer.

Davis is passionate in assisting clients reach their full potential on and off the ice. As a former client, Davis has had the opportunity to experience first-hand the professionalism, thoughtfulness and honesty from the staff at Top Shelf.
Davis had a successful Jr. B career highlighted by a Sutherland Cup Final in 2011 and First Team All-Star accreditation in 2015. After several injuries, Davis stepped away from the game to focus on his education and career with Top Shelf. He is a current Bachelor of Commerce Student and future MBA candidate.

A recent graduate of the Lazaridis School of Business, and current Masters student in the Schulich School of Business, Jonathan has a wealth of knowledge and passion for marketing. Jonathan has truly grown up in the hockey agency world, while watching his father Joe and his partner John grow the business from inception.
Jonathan’s responsibilities include establishing product endorsement deals and building partnerships via social media, as well as building brand management for Top Shelf talent.
